As with many countries around the world, Vietnam is facing an increase in the number of cases tested positive for COVID-19. With decisive policies and actions, and widespread media campaigns about COVID-19 “do’s and don’ts” (like this viral song about hand washing, or #ONhaVanVui (#StayHomeIsFun) campaign on TikTok), the Vietnamese government has been doing its best in uniting citizens in fighting against the pandemic and controlling its negative impacts. As of April 3rd, 2020, there have been 233 cases, with 75 successful recoveries, 0 deaths and about 120,000 people currently in quarantine.
On April 1st, the Prime Minister ordered a 15-day period of “social distancing” across Vietnam to limit the spread of the coronavirus. During this critical window, all businesses are closed, except for essential services, such as supermarkets, pharmacies, hospitals, manufacturing factories, etc. Travel between cities, and personal travel out of home are also limited. No public gatherings of more than 2 people are allowed, while individuals are expected to wear face masks in public and wash their hands regularly.
To ensure the health and safety of not only our staff, but also our families and community at large, and given this policy, The CREATV Company has implemented a Work from home strategy since March 23rd, 2020 and will remain effective until at least April 15th, 2020. Though our office is closed, and with continual monitoring of government orders, all our team is conducting business as usual from home, having meetings via Zoom, and discussing pitches and project prep via Viber.
While this is an uncertain and unprecedented time for not only Vietnam but also the world, we hope that you and your family and friends are staying safe and healthy wherever you are. With unity and awareness, we can surely battle this new coronavirus.
If you have any inquiries about our services, please give us a call, send an email or Facebook message us. We will continue to post regular updates regarding our office re-opening and work-from-home policy on our website and social media.
